Shops, catering and facilities at Royal Liverpool University Hospital

This page will give you a list of all the shops, catering outlets and facilities available at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital, including locations and opening times.

All units accept card and cash payments.

Skyline Restaurant

Skyline is located on the 10^th floor and serves a variety of hot meals, baked potatoes, sandwiches and drinks. Its coffee shop is open Monday to Friday, 7.30am-4pm and 8am-2pm on weekends.

Fresh

Fresh is located near to the main entrance of the hospital on the ground floor, and sells smoothies, wedges, salads and healthy wraps to order. Opening hours, Monday to Friday, 10am-6pm.

Torino Italian Cafe

Torino is located near to the main entrance of the hospital on the ground floor, and sells freshly made pizza, ciabattas, Lavazza coffee and cakes. It is open, Monday to Sunday, 24 hours a day.

The Bistro

The Bistro is on the lower ground floor near the West Derby Street entrance. The Bistro serves Starbucks and offers a wide range of hot and cold meals and snacks. Card payments are accepted. It is open Monday to Friday, 7am-7pm, and 7am-3pm on weekends.

Linda McCartney Café

This is located on the ground floor of the Linda McCartney Centre, opposite our Clinical Support Services Building. It serves toasties, sandwiches, snacks and hot and cold drinks. It is open Monday to Friday, 8am-2pm.

Vending machines

Vending machines are located throughout the hospital site. A large vending village can be found by the Skyline Restaurant on the 10^th floor.

WHSmith

Open seven days a week, 8am-8pm, WHSmith is located on the lower ground floor. It offers Costa Coffee, magazines, cold drinks and sandwiches and health and beauty products.

Wheelchairs

Wheelchairs are available at the Prescot Street and West Derby Street entrances where a front of house porter is based 7am-5.30pm, Monday to Friday. And also at the Emergency Department entrance. However, these are utilised widely and may not always be available.

Changing places

There is a changing place on-site on the lower ground floor, open Monday to Sunday, 24 hours a day. To request access, please speak to the reception desk.

Baby change

There is a baby change room on-site on the lower ground floor, open Monday to Sunday, 24 hours a day. To request access, please speak to the reception desk.
